The American Public Health Association recently featured the Georgia Health Policy Center’s Leading through Health System Change: A Public Health Opportunity Planning Tool in two webinars and in The Nation’s Health article “Planning Tool Helps Health Agencies Adapt Services to Health Reform” published in the August 2014 issue. The webinars had 380 attendees and the planning tool now has more than 1,270 registered users (register today at www.acaplanningtool.com).
The first webinar provides an overview of Leading through Health System Change: A Public Health Opportunity including Health Reform 101, Looking at Health Reform through an Adaptive Lens, and How to Use the Planning Tool. The second in the series “Create, Share, Learn” features ideas and stories from the field; case examples for public health agencies; advice and tips on moving from a technical to adaptive mindset; and interactive feedback on next steps for content, community, and communication.
