Jana Pruett Covington is a research associate II working on the Center of Excellence for Children’s Behavioral Health team. She has experience as both a researcher and as a clinical social worker.
Her research interests center on issues of service access for vulnerable populations, health care and behavioral health policy, program design, and resource utility in a challenging political landscape. She has experience in both qualitative and quantitative research in the areas of service access and provision and the impact of policy on behavioral health services.
Pruett Covington currently leads the policy and finance work for the Center of Excellence team. She also helps facilitate the strategic planning and meetings of the Georgia Interagency Director’s Team.
