Liz Imperiale is responsible for the internal and external communications and the Georgia Health Policy Center’s (GHPC’s) overall marketing strategy including branding, public relations, digital marketing, and publications. Imperiale serves on GHPC’s management team and provides communications guidance to leadership in a number of areas including strategic direction, client relations, human resources, and knowledge management. She recently received her Certified Communicator in Public Health credentials from the National Public Health Information Coalition.
In addition to overseeing the center’s overall communications strategies, Imperiale provides communications leadership for several of the center’s projects, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-sponsored national coordinating center Bridging for Health: Improving Community Health Through Innovations in Financing, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Leading through Health System Change planning tool, and the National Maternal and Child Health Workforce Development Center planning tool module. She also coordinates GHPC’s outreach and provides support for writing, editing, graphic design, and presentations.
