Tamanna Patel is a senior research associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center where she works on the Community Health Systems Development team. She links resources, information, and expertise essential for programs to bring health services to underserved populations. Her areas of expertise include technical assistance, sustainability, rural health, awards management, diabetes, and enrollment and coverage education post-Affordable Care Act. Additionally, she has expertise in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
As part of the center’s Community Health Systems Development team, Patel provides technical assistance to U.S. Health Services Research Administration Federal Office of Rural Health Policy grantees focusing on quality improvement, benefits counseling, diabetes, and oral health. Additionally, Patel is a part of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s southern region Pipeline to Proposal Award program office. Lastly, she is part of a team facilitating the work of Trinity Health System’s Excellence in Community Benefit initiative.
