William Custer is the director of the Center for Health Services Research and an associate professor in the Department of Risk Management and Insurance in Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. He is a core faculty member at the Georgia Health Policy Center.
Custer’s research has investigated a wide range of topics including the sources of health insurance coverage, employment-based health insurance, health plan cost-management initiatives, and health insurance regulation.
He authored numerous articles and studies on the health care delivery system, insurance, retirement income security, and employee benefits. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Financial Service Professionals and the Community Mental Health Journal.
