The Georgia Health Policy Center is continuing its twelve-year relationship with the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy through a new contract to provide technical assistance for Direct Services grantees. During this five-year engagement, the Community Health Systems Team will support 29 health care facilities that have Small Health Care Provider Quality Improvement grants and 12 communities that are recipients of Delta States Rural Development Network grants. The GHPC Technical Assistance Program encompasses the provision of a wide range of technical assistance which ensures a logical progression of activities to support communities in accomplishing their goals: focusing first on developing a strategic mindset, then building requisite skills and capacities, and finally integrating sustainability strategies.
