For 25 years, the Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) has been a source of objective, credible, and timely health policy guidance and research.
Even in these unprecedented times, our approach to our work has not changed.
GHPC is helping with the COVID-19 pandemic by providing clear, practical resources for partners, and facilitating important, strategic conversations.
Our researchers will be analyzing data, translating policy guidance, and assessing potential impact for a range of stakeholders.
“It is our hope that together we can emerge as individuals, organizations, and a system from the pandemic stronger than before,” says Karen Minyard, Ph.D., GHPC’s CEO. “While we are reaching out to help partners with what is needed most right now, there is a transformative opportunity to take lessons from the pandemic and our collective response to inform future models of care delivery and financing of health, including how to better align across sectors and address the root causes of health disparities.”
The center is committed to highlighting emerging learnings across projects, topical areas, and communities during the road to recovery. Some resources already available include:
- Leading Through Health Systems Change: Revisited Through the Lens of Coronavirus
- Options for State Medicaid Programs During COVID-19 Emergency
- Guide for Planning and Hosting an Effective Virtual Meeting/Training Event
