GHPC in Print and Media

Marginalized areas often have poor access to quality parks. This limited access to green space can negatively impact public health and well-being, especially in communities already facing numerous challenges to success. >>
The Georgia Health Policy Center, along with its partners the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy within the Health Resources and Services Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Network of Public Health Institutes, recently released the Rapid Review of Rural Health Research, a compilation of resources for the five leading causes of death in rural areas. >>

With a substantial investment from the governor, strong commitment from state leaders, a strategic state plan and concerted effort from public and private organizations, 2019 is the year for Georgia to move the needle on children’s behavioral health and secure a healthy, productive workforce for Georgia’s future. >>

Job Openings

The Research Associate II is a contributing member of the Community Health Systems Development team which provides a broad range of technical assistance to communities as they implement health improvement initiatives and build locally and regionally integrated health systems.
 

The Research Associate I will serve a dual role in supporting both the Center of Excellence’s research and evaluation arm and program implementation technical assistance function.  This position will engage in evaluation planning and implementation, as well as programmatic and evaluation technical assistance.
