- Biography
Ana LaBoy is a senior research associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center. She is a mixed methods researcher with interest in community-based research, homelessness, racial health equity, maternal health, and urban studies.
LaBoy’s current work at the center consists of working on the Medicaid Policy and Business team supporting the Georgia Department of Community Health with empirical research and analysis. She also works as an evaluator on the Trinity Health Diabetes Prevention Program and co-leads GHPC’s Health Equity Working Group Incubator, which focuses on helping project teams across the center to implement action items that advance health equity.
LaBoy’s academic research is published in Social Sciences, Medical Care Research and Review, and JAMA Health Forum. She is also an editorial board member for The Journal of Public and Professional Sociology.
