Ashia Higgins

Ashia Higgins is a research coordinator II at the Georgia Health Policy Center. She brings expertise in pediatric public health research, program evaluation and implementation, project management, clinical laboratory and immunization quality management, and moderate complexity CLIA testing in hematology. In addition, she has experience in nonprofit sponsorship and fundraising, event planning, and community engagement.

Her interests are deeply rooted in improving overall human health and wellness through improved technique and innovation. She is passionate about safeguarding the pediatric community from emerging infectious disease and improving access to health care for children in underserved communities affected by communicable diseases.
