Emily Heberlein is a senior research associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center. Her areas of expertise include evaluation, monitoring, and quality improvement. She employs mixed methods and frameworks, including realist and developmental evaluation, to plan, coordinate, and conduct studies of complex and adaptive initiatives to produce actionable and timely results for funders and stakeholders.
Heberlein’s current projects include the evaluation of the Bridging for Health Initiative, supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the evaluation of the Trinity Health-sponsored Transforming Communities Initiative.
Her published research has appeared in the Maternal and Child Health Journal, the Archives of Women’s Mental Health, and the Journal of Midwifery and Women’s Health.
