Japera Hemming, is an assistant project Director at the Georgia Health Policy Center. She is actively involved in health systems transformation, advancing health equity, whole-person health program implementation, and social justice research.
Hemming leads a project supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that examines cross-sector alignment to facilitate recovery from the triple crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic, the resulting economic struggles, and the ongoing impact of systemic racism.
