- Biography
Rachel Campos is part of the Georgia Health Policy Center’s Community Health Systems Development team. She brings with her expertise in planning, implementing, and evaluating health promotion programs in both the public and private sectors.
Campos provides technical assistance to rural health initiatives across the country with a focus on building their capacity and long-term sustainability, specific to childhood obesity. In addition, she provides technical assistance to Georgia’s Student Health and Physical Education (SHAPE) grantees to develop wellness committees and physical activity and nutrition plans within school communities for an opportunity to achieve a greater level of overall fitness and health. Lastly, Campos serves as a technical assistance consultant to Georgia Community Service Boards to implement a project integrating mental health therapists in school settings to create a sustainable school-based mental health model.
