Sarah Small is a research associate specializing in substance use at the Center of Excellence for Children’s Behavioral Health within the Georgia Health Policy Center. As a mixed-methods researcher, Small’s projects have focused on program evaluation and implementation, harm reduction, stigma, and maternal and child health.
Throughout her career, Small has developed expertise in education, communications, building partnerships, working with children, and working across cultures. She is most excited to work on community-facing research. Her current projects include evaluating the Prevention Clubhouses, the Recovery Support Clubhouses, and the Adventure Youth Program, which are supported by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
