Tony Price

Tony Price serves as a senior research associate on the Community Health Systems Development team. In this role, he provides technical assistance to grantees of the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and assists these grantees in implementing their public health programs. He serves as the technical assistance lead for the Rural Health Care Coordination Program and co-lead for the Rural Health Services Outreach Program.

Price brings experience in chronic disease prevention strategies across the age spectrum, and employee wellness in higher education and corporate settings, physical activity, the built environment, and health equity, and uses this skillset to better assist the grantees that he serves. A strong believer in the power of relationship building and collaboration, Price routinely creates bridges between the grantees he serves and resources for their success. He specializes in physical activity, fitness, and exercise strategies, using those platforms to help those he serves to reach better health outcomes.
