- Biography
Twanna Nelson is an assistant project director with the Center of Excellence for Children’s Behavioral Health (COE) at the Georgia Health Policy Center. She brings with her experience in public health, maternal and child health, program management, strategic planning, and program implementation.
At the center, Mrs. Nelson co-leads several initiatives including Mindworks Georgia, a collaborative that serves as the state director-level, multiagency working group of the Behavioral Health Coordinating Council, and is responsible for developing and implementing the system of care framework in Georgia. She also serves as a technical assistant provider supporting federally funded projects awarded to the COE.
