The Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) has a long history of working with the Georgia Department of Human Services’ Division of Aging Services to support their assessment and planning activities.

Recently, the GHPC collected community-level data through 12 community meetings and a state-wide survey to inform the State Plan on Aging, required by the Administration for Community Living. GHPC conducted thematic analysis to identify gaps, barriers, and challenges, as well as strengths and solutions of the state’s long-term services and supports system. This input will guide the state’s efforts for the next four years.
