Getting Further Faster
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Getting Further Faster initiative targeted the development of multisector partnerships to improve social determinants of health and advance health equity in the domains of built environment, clinical-community linkages, food and nutrition security, social connectedness, and tobacco-free policies.
The Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) was selected as one of the initiative’s training and technical assistance providers to further development and sustainability of a cohort of multisector partnerships. In this capacity, GHPC conducted training webinars, supported a community of practice, provided one-on-one coaching to participating collaboratives, and developed the People, Power, and Partnership Guide for the participating collaboratives to understand and address power dynamics and building and sustaining trusted relationship.
