No Wrong Door Return on Investment
No Wrong Door Return on Investment
Administered by the Georgia Division of Aging Services, the Aging and Disability Resource Connections based at the Area Agencies on Aging, Department of Behavioral and Developmental Disabilities, Centers for Independent Living, and Brain Injury Association of Georgia serve as a coordinated system of partner organizations dedicated to providing accurate information about publicly and privately financed long-term supports and services. The goal is to offer a consumer-oriented approach to learning about the availability of services in the home and community, alleviating the need for multiple calls or visits to receive services, and supporting individuals and family members who are aging or living with a disability. This network of partnering organizations is known as Georgia’s No Wrong Door system.
Over the years, the Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) has helped Georgia Department of Human Services’ Division of Aging Services in planning and evaluation of the No Wrong Door system. Now, GHPC is gathering and analyzing data that will assist the Administration for Community Living to develop a business case for the No Wrong Door system to demonstrate a return on investment. Data collection involves administering surveys, facilitating a consumer advisory committee, conducting key informant interviews, and reviewing programmatic documents.
