Project LAUNCH Evaluation
Project LAUNCH Evaluation
Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions and Unmet Needs for Children’s Health) grants, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, are designed to build the capacities of adult caregivers of young children to promote healthy social and emotional development; to prevent mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders; and to identify and address behavioral concerns before they develop into serious emotional disturbances.
The Georgia Health Policy Center assisted the Georgia Department of Public Health in evaluating the implementation and outcomes for the five-year Project Launch program with the Columbus Board of Health. The evaluation included developing an initial evaluation plan, a continuous quality improvement process, and annual evaluation reports.
