Reimagining Post-Pandemic Aging Services
Reimagining Post-Pandemic Aging Services
The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted nearly all service delivery, including how Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) across Georgia provide programming for seniors. The Thanks Mom and Dad Fund received a planning grant from Anthem to harness learning developed by testing new service models and adaptations to service delivery during the pandemic.
The Georgia Health Policy Center will assist in planning and facilitating meetings with AAA staff and contracted partners to assess their pandemic experience of offering new and different program models while serving an increased number of older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers. The evaluation will document lessons learned, capacity-building opportunities, and sustainability considerations.
