Rural Health Clinic COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Program
The Health Resources and Services Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention jointly administer the Rural Health Clinic COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Program, which has a goal of increasing COVID-19 vaccine availability and improving COVID-19 vaccination rates through direct distribution of COVID-19 vaccines to Rural Health Clinics.
The Georgia Health Policy Center provides training, online peer learning, and technical assistance to support Rural Health Clinics’ vaccine distribution activities. Topics include program enrollment, project planning and management, vaccine ordering and storage, inventory management, data collection and reporting, provider education, vaccine hesitancy, patient engagement, and reimbursement.
