Rural Maternity and Obstetrics Management
Rural Maternity and Obstetrics Management
The Health Resources and Services Administration’s Rural Maternity and Obstetrics Management Strategies (RMOMS) program aims to develop financially sustainable and integrated network models in order to improve access to and continuity of maternal and obstetrics care in rural communities, ultimately improving maternal and neonatal outcomes. RMOMS is a four-year program structured by one year of planning followed by three years of implementation.
The Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC) provides technical assistance for RMOMS grantees with a focus on payer, partner, and patient engagement; health equity, maternity care services in medically underserved communities; and implementation of telehealth services.
