Supported Employment and Education Evaluation
Supported Employment and Education (SEEd) is a program that helps support individuals who have specific behavioral health needs that might interfere with their educational or employment goals. By teaching skills to manage the demands of the school or workplace, the program opens the benefits of work and school to those who need specific supports, including those with severe mental illness or intellectual disability.
The Center of Excellence for Children’s Behavioral Health at the Georgia Health Policy Center provides evaluation and monitoring services for this program. Specifically, Center of Excellence researchers designed the evaluation and implemented measures and provider surveys. These are used for ongoing data collection and monthly monitoring analysis. This information is used to inform technical assistance that guides program management and quality improvement.
